Looking down on what I have created for myself. With neither pride or regret. Only learning what I need to learn in order to continue forward on the best possible path.
Where I lead I follow. I set my own path. I follow it without fear. I don't go forward with expectations. Only a strong sense of who I am.

A strong sense of self carries one far, I think. If there is one thing I hope my daughter's will walk into the world with, it is that.

This is more than what most people have. Fear and doubt rule the existence of most that I've met.
strong sense of self? and how many ppl have that exactly?
Not nearly enough.
Until people come to realise that what they are doing in their lives isn't working they don't realize that you have to know yourself before you can be happy with someone else.
And some people never figure that out. My father never did.
Some rather good writing there Mr Nose. Actually made me think (which doesn't happen often).
